This website is operated by Molina D’Clase & Cia. Ltda, a Nicaraguan company operating under the Lai&Lina® brand (“Lai&Lina,” “we,” “our,” or “the Company”).

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Lai&Lina website, as well as inquiries, quotation requests, orders, purchases, and other interactions initiated through our digital platforms.

By accessing or using this website, submitting a quotation request, or purchasing a product from Lai&Lina, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using this website.

1. ABOUT LAI&LINA

Lai&Lina® designs, manufactures, curates and commercializes furniture and furnishings for residential, hospitality and commercial environments.

Our collections include pieces manufactured by Lai&Lina, made-to-order and customizable furniture, as well as selected products from brands, manufacturers and design partners represented or distributed by the Company.

Because many of our pieces are handcrafted or produced specifically for each project, certain characteristics, availability and commercial conditions may vary from one product to another.

2. USE OF THIS WEBSITE

The content of this website is provided for informational, inspirational and commercial purposes.

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of Lai&Lina or third parties, interfere with the operation of the website, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to its systems.

Lai&Lina reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any portion of the website at any time without prior notice.

While we make reasonable efforts to maintain the website and its information accurately, we cannot guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free from technical issues.

3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise indicated, all content presented on this website — including the Lai&Lina® name and trademarks, product names, collections, furniture designs, photographs, videos, graphics, illustrations, text, layouts, visual compositions and other creative materials — is owned by, licensed to, or used with authorization by Lai&Lina.

Such content is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content may be viewed and shared for personal and non-commercial purposes. It may not be reproduced, copied, modified, distributed, published, sold, commercially exploited or used to create derivative works without prior written authorization from Lai&Lina or the corresponding rights holder.

Product imagery and materials belonging to brands represented or distributed by Lai&Lina remain the property of their respective owners.

4. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate product descriptions, dimensions, materials, finishes, photographs and specifications.

However, information displayed on the website is intended primarily as a reference and may be updated or modified without prior notice.

Because many Lai&Lina products incorporate natural materials and handcrafted processes, individual pieces may present variations in grain, texture, tone, pattern, color, knots, markings or other natural characteristics.

These variations are inherent to materials such as wood, stone, leather, textiles and other natural or handcrafted components and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Minor dimensional variations may also occur as a result of handcrafted manufacturing processes.

5. COLORS, MATERIALS & FINISHES

We make every effort to represent colors, textures and finishes accurately.

However, their appearance may vary depending on screen calibration, lighting conditions, photography, material batches and the natural characteristics of each material.

Digital images should therefore be considered visual references rather than exact representations of the final product.

Where material or finish samples are available, we encourage clients to review them with a Lai&Lina advisor before confirming customized or made-to-order pieces.

Variations between samples and final products may occur, particularly with natural materials and different production or dye lots.

Such reasonable variations are not considered defects.

6. AVAILABILITY

Products displayed on the website may be:

Available for immediate delivery;
Available from showroom inventory;
Made to order;
Available by special order;
Temporarily unavailable; or
Discontinued.

Displaying a product on the website does not constitute a guarantee of availability.

Availability should be confirmed with a Lai&Lina advisor when requesting a quotation or placing an order.

Lai&Lina reserves the right to modify or discontinue products, materials, finishes, configurations or collections without prior notice.

7. REQUESTS FOR QUOTATION

The Lai&Lina website operates primarily as a product discovery and consultation platform.

The “Add to Quote” and “Request a Quote” functions allow visitors to select products and submit them to our team for consultation.

Submitting a quotation request does not constitute a purchase, reservation, sales contract or obligation by either party.

Once a request is received, a Lai&Lina advisor may contact the client to confirm specifications including dimensions, materials, finishes, quantities, availability, delivery location, lead times and other project requirements.

A transaction becomes binding only once the corresponding quotation, order or sales document has been accepted under the commercial conditions established by Lai&Lina and any required payment has been received.

8. QUOTATIONS & PRICING

Prices and commercial conditions may vary according to product configuration, dimensions, materials, finishes, upholstery, quantities, transportation, installation requirements and other project-specific considerations.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are valid only for the period indicated in the corresponding quotation.

After that period, prices, availability and lead times may be subject to confirmation or revision.

Any typographical, calculation, system or pricing error contained on the website or in preliminary digital information may be corrected before an order is formally confirmed.

Promotions, discounts and special commercial conditions are subject to their respective terms and validity periods.

9. CUSTOM & MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Many Lai&Lina pieces are manufactured or configured specifically for each client.

A product is considered custom or made-to-order when its production, finishing, upholstery, dimensions, materials, configuration or other characteristics are selected or commissioned specifically for an order.

The client is responsible for reviewing and approving all specifications included in the quotation or order before production begins.

Once a custom or made-to-order product enters production, changes or cancellations may not be possible.

Any requested modification after approval will be evaluated individually and may result in additional charges and revised production or delivery times.

Because these pieces are created specifically for the client, custom and made-to-order products are generally considered final sale, except where a manufacturing defect covered under the applicable warranty is confirmed.

10. LEAD TIMES

Estimated production and delivery times will be communicated during the quotation or order process.

Lead times are estimates and may vary depending on product configuration, availability of materials, imported components, production capacity, transportation, customs processes or circumstances beyond Lai&Lina’s reasonable control.

When circumstances affect the estimated completion or delivery date, Lai&Lina will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant updates to the client.

A change in an estimated lead time does not automatically constitute a product defect or cancellation of the order.

11. DELIVERY

Delivery conditions, costs and geographical coverage will be established according to the corresponding order or quotation.

The client or an authorized representative must be available to receive and inspect the furniture at the agreed delivery location.

Where included in the contracted service, Lai&Lina delivery may include:

Protective packaging for transportation;
Removal of transportation packaging;
Placement of furniture within the designated area; and
Assembly of furniture when applicable and when site conditions permit.

Unless expressly included in the quotation, delivery does not include electrical connections, modifications to walls or architectural elements, relocation of third-party furniture, structural work, cable or signal installation, or other services unrelated to the furniture itself.

The client is responsible for ensuring that access routes, elevators, doors, hallways, stairs and the final installation area are suitable for the dimensions and weight of the furniture.

Any special access or installation condition should be communicated to Lai&Lina before delivery.

12. INSPECTION UPON DELIVERY

Every reasonable effort is made to inspect Lai&Lina furniture before delivery.

The client or authorized recipient should inspect the product at the time of delivery and communicate any visible damage, missing components or significant discrepancy as soon as reasonably possible.

When applicable, photographic evidence may be requested to evaluate the claim.

Damage occurring after delivery as a result of relocation, improper handling, misuse or third-party transportation is not considered transportation damage attributable to Lai&Lina.

13. CARE & MAINTENANCE

Furniture should be used and maintained according to its intended purpose and the characteristics of its materials.

To preserve the quality and longevity of your furniture, we recommend:

Cleaning spilled liquids immediately.
Maintaining furniture in environments free from excessive humidity.
Avoiding prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which may alter the color and characteristics of wood, textiles and finishes.
Avoiding extreme temperatures and abrupt temperature changes.
Lifting objects rather than dragging them across furniture surfaces.
Avoiding excessive weight or pressure on doors, drawers, armrests or other components not designed to support such loads.
Protecting surfaces from inks, sharp objects, heat and abrasive materials.
Cleaning furniture using a clean, soft cloth and only care products specifically recommended for the corresponding material.
Avoiding alcohol, solvents, abrasive cleaners, household chemicals or other products that may damage finishes or upholstery.
Using trivets, placemats or other appropriate protection beneath hot objects.

Failure to follow appropriate care recommendations may affect warranty coverage.

14. WARRANTY

Warranty coverage begins on the date the product is delivered, unless otherwise specified in the corresponding invoice, quotation or warranty certificate.

For Lai&Lina-manufactured furniture, the following standard warranty periods apply unless different conditions are expressly stated in the sales documentation:

Wood components: 30 days.

Fabrics, vinyls, stitching, upholstery coverings and cushioning: six (6) months.

Hardware: six (6) months.

Products manufactured by third-party brands may be subject to the warranty terms established by their respective manufacturer or supplier.

Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects occurring under normal and appropriate use.

15. WARRANTY COVERAGE

Subject to inspection and verification, warranty coverage may apply when:

Wood presents significant cracking or abnormal dimensional changes under appropriate environmental conditions;
Structural components become loose or separate under normal use;
Hardware unexpectedly detaches or becomes significantly misaligned;
A manufacturing defect causes significant separation of veneers or bonded surfaces; or
Another verified manufacturing defect materially affects the intended function of the product.

Lai&Lina reserves the right to inspect the product in order to determine the cause and appropriate resolution of any warranty claim.

Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may consist of repair, replacement of a component or another reasonable corrective solution.

16. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from:

Normal wear and aging;
Improper use or use inconsistent with the product’s intended purpose;
Impacts, scratches, cuts, burns or accidents;
Excessive humidity or environmental exposure;
Direct or prolonged exposure to sunlight;
Exposure to rain, water, fire or extreme temperatures;
Chemical products, solvents or inappropriate cleaning products;
Damage caused by pets;
Improper transportation or relocation after the original delivery;
Unauthorized repairs, alterations or modifications;
Natural disasters or circumstances beyond reasonable control;
Normal deterioration of paints, finishes or upholstery resulting from use; or
Failure to follow recommended care and maintenance instructions.

Natural variations in wood grain, knots, texture, color, stone pattern, leather, fabrics or other natural materials are not considered defects and are therefore not covered by warranty.

17. WARRANTY CLAIMS

To submit a warranty claim, the client should provide reasonable proof of purchase and information sufficient to identify the product and reported issue.

Photographs, videos or an on-site inspection may be required.

The client agrees to provide Lai&Lina reasonable access to inspect the product when an inspection is necessary to evaluate the claim.

If the issue qualifies for warranty service and cannot reasonably be corrected at the delivery location, Lai&Lina may arrange for the furniture or affected component to be transported to its workshop or another authorized service location.

Components replaced as part of a warranty repair may be retained by Lai&Lina.

18. RETURNS, EXCHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Because furniture may be manufactured, upholstered, finished or ordered specifically for each client, return and cancellation conditions depend on the nature of the product.

Custom, personalized and made-to-order products are generally considered final sale once production has begun.

Products available from existing inventory may be subject to different exchange or return conditions as established in the corresponding quotation, invoice or sales documentation.

Products that have been used, altered, damaged, improperly handled or transported by third parties may not be eligible for return or exchange.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection legislation.

19. PROJECTS & PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

Lai&Lina may work with homeowners, interior designers, architects, developers, hotels, hospitality operators and other professionals on residential and commercial projects.

Project quotations may include special pricing, product selection, space planning, customization, transportation, installation or other services.

The exact scope, deliverables, responsibilities, payment conditions and timelines applicable to a project will be established in its corresponding proposal, quotation or agreement.

In the event of a conflict between these general Terms & Conditions and a signed project-specific agreement, the project-specific agreement will prevail with respect to that project.

20. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS & BRANDS

Certain products offered or displayed by Lai&Lina may be manufactured by third-party brands.

Product specifications, warranties, replacement parts, lead times and other conditions relating to such products may therefore be subject to the policies of their respective manufacturers.

Lai&Lina will make reasonable efforts to assist clients in coordinating applicable claims or service requests for products purchased through us.

21. WEBSITE ACCURACY

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information presented on this website is accurate and current.

Nevertheless, the website may occasionally contain typographical errors, outdated information, technical inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, dimensions, availability, imagery or other information.

Lai&Lina reserves the right to correct errors, update information or modify website content at any time without prior notice.

22. PROHIBITED USES

Users may not use the Lai&Lina website or its content to:

Violate applicable laws or regulations;
Infringe intellectual property rights;

With respect to products, Lai&Lina’s responsibilities are subject to the applicable sales agreement, warranty conditions and mandatory consumer protection rights.

Lai&Lina may update these Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our services, commercial practices, website functionality or applicable legal requirements.

Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

27. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Nicaragua, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be handled before the competent authorities or courts in accordance with applicable Nicaraguan law.
